New laws should be enacted to allow a means test for retirement. If a person who turns 65 and is still in excellent health — they are not taking medication for a chronic condition, have all their internal organs, both lungs working, no asthma, perfect eyesight, full set of teeth with minor cavities, both kidneys working — they should be required to continue working as a fully functioning person.
People who are in excellent health should not complain about people in poor health conditions, which were involuntarily to begin with. A new law would save billions of dollars and allow people to continue working and not have an age limit imposed on them, which restricts them from working simply because of their older age.
People in good health will be able to enter the workforce again without discrimination of age. And continue on helping society and humanity.
