In response to Kelli Snider’s recent letter to the editor (“Donald Trump has shown us who he is,” letter to the editor, The Observer, June 18), it is evident you feel that justice has been served in the recent trial against former President Trump.

However, take into consideration that charges were brought by Alvin Bragg, a strong Democrat who waited until Trump declared his intentions to run for president. Bragg ran on a platform to “get Trump” and was definitely biased, if you watched the trial, as I did.

Judge Merchan was very biased and the jury was made up of all Democrat-leaning people, reaching a verdict as expected. It will be interesting to see if the “get Trumpers” will feel justice has been served when the Supreme Court overturns the guilty verdict in the future.
