UNION COUNTY — The Union County Board of Commissioners will host its first meeting of the year Wednesday, Jan. 8, beginning at 9 a.m. in the Joseph Building Annex Conference Room, 1106 K Ave. in La Grande.

Commissioners will hear from Union County Emergency Manager Nick Vora on the natural hazard mitigation plan.

They also will discuss the 2025-27 Statewide Transportation Improvement Fund Plan.
