Forest Service hosts open houses in Baker, Union and Wallowa counties

BAKER CITY — The public can learn about current and ongoing projects and programs of the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest during open houses in Baker, Union and Wallowa counties.
Forest Service leadership — including forest supervisor Shaun McKinney and deputy forest supervisor Traci Zimmerlee — will provide updates during each session. In addition, attendees can ask questions and share comments. Each of the open house events runs from 5-6 p.m.:
- Jan. 22 at the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest, Fire Compound, 3185 11th St., Baker City.
- Jan. 23 at the La Grande Ranger District office, 3502 Highway 30, La Grande.
- Jan. 30 in the food booth building at the Wallowa County Fairgrounds, 600 NW First St., Enterprise.
