UNION COUNTY — The Union County Chamber of Commerce is once more searching for an executive director.
The chamber announced Jan. 14 through a post on social media that Caitlin Harrold is stepping down as the chamber boss to taking on a new role as the Sage-Grouse Local Implementation Team coordinator in Baker County.
“Her dedication and vision will be greatly missed, but we are thrilled to see her bring her talents to this new opportunity,” according to the post from the chamber.
Following the announcement, the chamber launched its hunt for a new director. The job posting and details about applying are online at shorturl.at/fLEcU.
In the same social media post, the organization also announced Madison Smallwood, the chamber’s media and outreach coordinator, is stepping down to take a role with The 906 Youth Resource Center in La Grande.
The chamber will hold a farewell party for Harrold and Smallwood at 4 p.m. on Jan. 21, at the La Grande office, 207 Depot St.
