Magaña joined the company in October 2024. Prior to Blue Canyon, he held multiple executive roles at Raytheon, overseeing billion-dollar portfolios in space-based ISR, electronic warfare, space control, and missile defense, advancing cutting-edge capabilities to strengthen national security. He also led strategic mergers and acquisitions, expanding Raytheon’s defense technology footprint. 

Smith joined Voyager in 2021 and has held several roles, most recently serving as Voyager’s chief technology officer. He is now responsible for delivering cutting-edge space and science solutions, exploration infrastructure and advanced systems for the company’s global customer base. Prior to joining Voyager, he served as NASA’s deputy associate administrator for Systems Engineering, director for Human Exploration and director for Cross-Program Systems Engineering. Smith led several initiatives that integrated innovative commercial partnerships into NASA’s deep-space exploration programs, including the Human Landing System and more.
