In answer to Cliff Heck’s letter to the editor in the March 19 edition, Donald Trump did not win even a simple majority of votes.

The count was 49.8% for Trump, 48.3% for Vice President Kamala Harris.  Mr. Heck stated  Trump won a large majority.

This illustrates a basic problem with the current administration regarding facts.  It does not seem like the truth has very much importance to the Republican Party.
