LA GRANDE — The Union County Master Gardener program will offer a program about gardening in wildfire country on Tuesday, April 15, 5:30-8 p.m. at the Union County Extension, 10507 N. McAlister Road.
The community is welcome to attend. Registration is $15.
Presenters Micah Schmidt, OSU regional fire specialist, and Anna Lindquist, firewise coordinator for the Union County Soil and Water Conservation District, will talk about assessing a landscape and creating a firewise garden.
