Cove at Imbler

Time: 7:30 p.m.

Records: Cove (16) 14-5 overall, 4-1 1A Old Oregon League; Imbler (6) 17-2 overall, 5-0 1A Old Oregon League

Overview: Cove has a single 1A Old Oregon League loss on its record. On Jan. 5, Imbler downed the Leopards 56-40.

The rematch is in the Imbler gym this time. Cove has not lost since that Jan. 5 game and comes in on a four-game win streak.

Imbler is the league leader playing at home but is watching Nixyaawii, also undefeated in league play after a win over Union. The Panthers are one spot away from breaking into the top five in the state 1A rankings.

Union at Elgin

Time: 7:30 p.m.

Records: Union (4) 13-5 overall, 3-1 1A Old Oregon League; Elgin (62) 3-12 overall, 1-2 1A Old Oregon League

Overview: Union hits the road after a home league loss to Nixyaawii in its last outing. Even with the game going the way of the Golden Eagles, the Bobcats remain a top-five team in the 1A state rankings.

Elgin fell to Union 66-29 in the first meeting of the two teams but are back in the home gym coming off a league victory over Griswold.

La Grande at Baker

Time: 7:30 p.m.

Records: La Grande (26) 4-14 overall, 0-4 4A Greater Oregon League; Baker (3) 18-0 overall, 2-0 4A Greater Oregon League

Overview: La Grande travels to Baker without a league victory after being stunned in Ontario and falling by a single point. In the last meeting between the two teams, Baker cruised to a 68-31 victory.

Baker is back home with a perfect 18-0 record for the season.

Powder Valley at Pine Eagle

Time: 7:30 p.m.

Records: Powder Valley (49) 7-11 overall, 1-4 1A Old Oregon League; Pine Eagle (80) 1-17 overall, 0-5 1A Old Oregon League

Overview: Powder Valley has a single 1A Old Oregon League victory. On Jan. 4, the Badgers downed Pine Eagle 70-39 and the same two teams will hit the court again for a rematch.
