Griswold at Elgin

Overview: Griswold enters the Elgin gym without a league win and currently riding a three-game skid. A previous game against the Huskies resulted in an 11-point loss for the Grizzlies.

Elgin fans return to the home gym after seeing Elgin drop an 44-18 game to Union on Jan. 26. Hoping for better results, a win would push Elgin above .500 in the league standings.

Pilot Rock at Union

Time: 4 p.m.

Records: Pilot Rock (50) 4-12 overall, 0-5 1A Old Oregon League; Union (16) 14-5 overall, 4-1 1A Old Oregon League

Overview: The Rockets are one of three teams in the Old Oregon League without a victory and looking to change that with a game in Union. Pilot Rock has not recorded a win since a 53-31 game victory over Harper on Dec. 28.

The Bobcats return home after taking a 44-18 Old Oregon League victory in Elgin on Jan. 26. On Jan. 12, Union downed Pilot Rock 57-28 in the first meeting between the two teams.

Wallowa at Imbler

Time: 4 p.m.

Records: Wallowa (23) 12-7 overall, 3-3 1A Old Oregon League; Imbler (6) 15-5 overall, 5-1 1A Old Oregon League

Overview: The Cougars make the trip to Imbler coming off a road victory over Joseph on Jan. 26, the team’s third win in the past four games. In a game against Imbler on Jan. 12, Wallowa suffered a 13-point league loss.

Imbler is back home for the second game in two days riding a two-game win streak after a home loss to Joseph on Jan. 18. With only a single Old Oregon League loss, the Panthers continue to chase undefeated Echo and one-loss Powder Valley in the league race.
