High school girls basketball: Tiger girls up, Panthers down in latest poll

WILSONVILLE – Playing the final week of the regular season, the Oregon School Activities Association (OSAA) released the latest voting by the state’s coaches for girls’ basketball on Tuesday, Feb. 6.

In the 4A poll, the coaches have the La Grande Tigers rising one spot to seventh in the state. The Lady Tigers are now tied with Stayton in the poll while the Lady Bulldogs of Baker fell out of the polling after the votes were compiled.

Astoria continues to lead the voting in the 4A followed by Henley and Philomath. Cascade and Klamath Union round out the top five teams.

The 1A poll sees the Lady Panthers of Imbler dropping one spot in the most recent poll to 10th.

Undefeated Crane received every first-place vote and remains at the top of the poll followed by North Douglas, Jordan Valley, Country Christian and North Clackamas County.
