Leslie “Les” N. Thurber, 78, of La Grande, died Monday, Feb. 20, 2023, at a care facility in Idaho. A celebration of life will be held March 18 at 2 p.m. at Loveland Funeral Chapel, La Grande. Casual dress is preferred by the family. A graveside service will follow at Grandview Cemetery, and after that a reception will be held at the La Grande American Legion Post 43, 301 Fir St. An obituary will be published at a later time. Arrangements are under the diretion of Loveland Funeral Chapel & Crematory, La Grande.
