WEDNESDAY, JULY 26

12:30 a.m.: La Grande police received a call about a juvenile disturbance on the 700 block of 12th Street. Officers responded and counseled multiple youths.

7:30 a.m.: La Grande police received a complaint of a sex crime.

8:15 a.m.: A caller told the Union County Sheriff’s Office about an abandoned RV at Willow Street and U Avenue. A deputy responded and tagged the RV.

8:21 a.m.: While responding to a call on the 1200 block of Willow Street, La Grande police arrested Sean Robert Stellings, 28, for second-degree criminal trespass.

8:32 a.m.: La Grande police responded to a call about a disturbance on the 2000 block of Greenwood Street. The parties were not cooperative and the officer took the information.

11:35 a.m.: Union County Sheriff’s Office served a stalking order.

1:14 p.m.: A La Grande police officer assisted a resident with questions about a runaway.

2:28 p.m.: A caller informed La Grande police about a suspicious woman near the Habitat for Humanity Restore. An officer responded and advised the subject to move along.

2:54 p.m.: La Grande police received a call about a possible drug law violation at Moon Motel. An officer responded and explained the available options.

3:12 p.m.: A caller told La Grande police about a possible theft at Thunderbird-Cove Apartments. An officer reached out and took the information. There was no crime and options were explained.

7:08 p.m.: La Grande police responded to a report of criminal mischief at Greenwood Elementary. Three subjects were warned for criminal mischief.

THURSDAY, JULY 27

12:32 a.m.: La Grande police received a call about an assault at Willow Street and Adams Avenue. Officer responded and the parties separated. The situation did not rise to the level of an arrest.

7:09 a.m.: Union County Sheriff’s Office received a call about possible offensive littering in Island City. A deputy reached out and referred the situation to the city as a possible ordinance violation.

7:55 a.m.: La Grande police responded to the United States Postal Service building and trespassed one subject.

9:06 a.m.: La Grande police received a call about a subject that was possibly trespassing at Spruce Street Market. Officers responded and issued the subject a trespass notice.

12:28 p.m.: A deputy advised about a bull loose at Hunter Road and Howard Lane.

12:54 p.m.: La Grande police responded to a report of a disturbance at Orchard Motel. Two subjects were trespassed.

2:55 p.m.: La Grande police received multiple 911 hang-up calls from the 2400 block of Riddle Road. An officer responded and searched the area, but did not find anyone in distress.

4:09 p.m.: During a field interrogation at Spruce Street and U Avenue, La Grande police arrested Tobias A Knox, 19, on two Union County failure to appear warrants. The first was on an original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct and the second was on an original charge of second-degree criminal mischief.

6:55 p.m.: A caller told La Grande police about a suspicious vehicle on the 2700 block of Fir Street. An officer responded and determined the vehicle belonged to a resident in the area.

6:59 p.m.: During a field interrogation on the 400 block of Adams Avenue, La Grande police arrested Troy Ray Powell, 56, on two Union County warrants. The first was for contempt of court and the second was for failure to appear on an original charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

7:39 p.m.: La Grande police received a call about an intoxicated driver at Pioneer Park. Officers responded and arrested one person.

7:47 p.m.: During a traffic stop at Island Avenue and Washington Avenue, La Grande police arrested Taylor James Drew, 40, for driving under the influence of intoxicants.

9:55 p.m.: A Union County sheriff’s deputy observed a disturbance at Spruce Street and Monroe Avenue. The subjects agreed to move along.
