IMBLER — The Imbler volleyball team is wasting no time getting started on the new season, playing two matches on Thursday, Aug.24, on the road.

The Panthers travel to Weston-McEwen to open the year with a match against Dufur starting at 4 p.m. Immediately following, Imbler will take on the TigerScots starting at approximately 6 p.m. Both games are nonleague affairs.

The road matches will continue on Aug. 26 as Panther volleyball travels to La Grande to participate in the Hannah Cashell Tournament with action starting at 9 a.m.

Imbler football will also be on a bus, taking part in the Cove Jamboree on Aug. 25. The action starts at Cove High School at 6 p.m.
