NORTH POWDER — Powder Valley continues to roll through teams in the 1A Old Oregon League, downing Cove, 3-0, on Tuesday, Sept. 26 in the Badger gym.

Powder Valley started quickly in the match, easily winning the first set 25-9. The Leopards made the second set much closer before the Badgers won 25-19. The third set went Powder Valley’s way 25-15 for the match victory.

The second half of September has seen the Badgers mowing down opponents as the team’s last loss was Sept. 15 against Crosshill Christian. Since that match, Powder Valley is on a eight match win streak.

Powder Valley (17-4 overall, 6-0 1A Old Oregon League) looks to remain league perfect on Sept. 28 with a trip to Pine Eagle (3-6 overall, 0-4 1A Old Oregon League).

Cove (4-11 overall, 1-5 1A Old Oregon League) departs league play for a match versus Griswold (5-7 overall) in the Leopards’ home gym on Sept. 29 with the first serve scheduled for 5 p.m.
