High school girls basketball: Imbler rides 13-point third quarter to win over Outlaws

ENTERPRISE — Imbler used a big third quarter to rally from a three-point halftime deficit and cruise to a 59-42 win over Enterprise on Wednesday, Dec. 20, in Enterprise.

The Outlaws were consistent in the first half, scoring 13 points in each quarter. A 13-4 run in the third quarter allowed the Panthers to pull away for the win.
Imbler’s Rachael Stirewalt exploded for 25 points, while Jayda Cant added 10 points.
In the loss, Enterprise was led by Alex Rowley’s 11 points followed closely by Tessa Duncan putting in 10 points.

Enterprise (7-4 overall) saw a four game win streak come to an end with the loss and will now again face the Panthers in the opening round of the Eastern Oregon Holiday Crossover on Dec. 28 in North Powder.
Imbler (8-0 overall) will face another 2A opponent, Weston-McEwen, on Dec. 21. An earlier meeting of these same two teams on Dec. 2 resulted in the Panthers’ closest game of the season, a 50-47 victory over the TigerScots.
