LA GRANDE — Lunch is served at the Union County Senior Center, 1504 N. Albany St., La Grande, on weekdays. Meals are served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and are open to the public. The suggested donation is $5 for those age 60 and older, $8 for all others.

Live music and dancing often precede the meal on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning around 10:45 a.m.

Tuesday, Dec. 12: BBQ chicken, roasted sweet potatoes, tomato-cucumber salad, cookies.

Wednesday, Dec. 13: fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, spinach salad, fruit.

Thursday, Dec. 14: stuffed peppers, couscous, mixed vegetables, fresh fruit.

Friday, Dec. 15: goulash, cauliflower, green salad, chocolate cake.

Monday, Dec. 18: lemon chicken, brown, rice, mixed vegetables, Caesar salad, rolls.

Tuesday, Dec. 19: Southwest chili, green salad, fresh fruit, cornbread, peach crisp.
