NYSSA-JOSEPH HOOP GAMES POSTPONED

The prospect of bad roads helped postpone Wapiti League games Thursday between Joseph and Nyssa high schools.

Joseph was scheduled to travel to Nyssa for the JV and varsity girls and boys games, but heavy snow in Wallowa County contributed to the decision to postpone the contests, boys basketball coach Ron Lathrop said.

The games will be rescheduled for either Jan. 16 or Jan. 29.

Joseph plays its season-opener tonight at Wallowa.
