Donna Mae Campbell, 88, of La Grande, died Nov. 13 at Grande Ronde Hospital. A celebration of her life will be held in the spring. Arrangements are entrusted to Daniels-Knopp Funeral, Cremation & Life Celebration Center.

Donna was born Oct. 26, 1931, in Enterprise, to Ora and Beulah (Gribling) Pace. She graduated from Enterprise High School. In 1954, Donna moved to La Grande, where she worked as the cook manager for Greenwood Elementary School from 1964 to 1994.

Donna was a member of the First Christian Church and the Eagles Lodge. She enjoyed reading and traveling and loved her family.

Surviving relatives include her daughter, Shirley Harris of Silverton; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and sisters, Phyllis Gibbs and Betty Sasser, both of Enterprise.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Margie Cordova; siblings, Jack Pace and Gordon Wayne Pace; and one grandchild.
