Tiger girls take second, boys fourth in Lebanon

The La Grande Tigers girls swimming team placed second and the boys came in fourth for a combined second-place finish at the Lebanon Invitational Saturday.
The LHS girls picked up two wins in the meet — one from freshman Reagan Kruse, who took the girls 100-yard freestyle (58.99 seconds), and from the 200 freestyle relay team as Romayne Ricker, Laramie Ricker, Kruse and Kristal Jensen finished in 1:48.37.
Romayne Ricker individually added two more second-place finishes in the 200 individual medley (2:18.15) and in the 100 breaststroke (1:12.99). She was also on the second-place 200 medley relay team along with Kruse, Jensen and Kennedy Kruse, which finished in 2:02.46. The 400 freestyle relay team of Laramie Ricker, Riley Weigand, Tulea Setser and Kennedy Kruse was also second in 4:07.65.
Placing third were Reagan Kruse in the 50 freestyle (27.22), Jensen in the 100 butterfly (1:03.50) and Kennedy Kruse in the 500 freestyle (5:47.26). Kennedy Kruse was also fourth in the 200 freestyle (2:10.41), and also in fourth were Weigand in the 200 IM (2:34.04), Jensen in the 50 freestyle (27.28) and Laramie Ricker in the 100 freestyle (1:01.90).
Garren Dutto paced the boys team with two victories, taking the boys 50 freestyle (22.59) and the 100 freestyle (49.07). Grayson Jensen was third in the 100 breaststroke (1:12.52), as was the 200 freestyle relay team of Caden Ricker, T.J. Clay, Jensen and Dutto (1:39.39). The same group also placed fourth in the 200 medley relay (1:52.49). Ricker also claimed fourth in the 200 freestyle (2:00.35) and Logan Flynn was fourth in the 200 IM (2:25.56).
The Tigers next travel to the White Buffalo Invitational Saturday in Madras.
