Jack Daniels still No. 1 in Oregon sales

Jack Daniels Old No. 7 and HRD Vodka retained their No. 1 statures as the best-selling distilled spirits in Oregon by dollar amount and volume, respectively, according to the Oregon Liquor Control Commission.

Liquor stores in Oregon sold $14.2 million worth of Jack Daniels from Dec. 1, 2015, through Nov. 30, the OLCC stated Tuesday in a news release. During the same period, Oregonians purchased 852,000 liters of HRD Vodka, a product of Hood River Distillers Inc. Both brands held their respective No. 1 spots in 2015, according to the OLCC. Both brands were best sellers in 2015, according to the OLCC.

Second place in dollar sales went to Fireball Cinnamon Whisky with $11.9 million worth sold this year, followed by Pendleton Whisky at $11.8 million, Jameson Irish Whiskey at $11.37 million and Crown Royal at $11.33 million. Rounding out the top 10 in dollar sales are Monopolowa Vodka at $9.04 million, Smirnoff Vodka at $8.81 million, HRD Vodka at $8.32 million, Black Velvet at $7.4 million and Maker’s Mark at $7.02 million.

In volume sales, second place went to Fleischmann Royal Vodka at 752,000 liters, Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey at 558,000 liters, Black Velvet Whisky at 556,000 liters and Potter’s Vodka at 482,000 liters. Finishing up the top 10 were Smirnoff Vodka at 471,000 liters, Monopolowa Vodka at 468,000 liters, Seagram’s Seven Whiskey at 461,000 liters, Jack Daniels at 458,000 liters and Platinum 7X Vodka at 437,000 liters.
