All state highways in Eastern Oregon are open as of 4 p.m., according to a press release from the Oregon Department of Transportation.
Officials with ODOT are warning that motorists should expect ice, snow and slick roadways, especially as temperatures drop Monday night into Tuesday.
While the roads in Eastern Oregon are open, they still can be dangerous, ODOT officials said. Travelers should watch for high snow berms along the shoulders of several highways, including Tollgate Highway between Elgin and Weston, the Cove Highway between Island City and Cove, Pyles Canyon Highway between Union and North Powder and Medical Springs Highway between Union and Baker City, ODOT said in the release.
