• LA GRANDE — The Union County Board of Commissioners will meet Wednesday, June 8, at 9 a.m. in the Joseph Building, La Grande. Buffalo Peak Golf Course and Grande Ronde Hospital are among the topics on the agenda.

• LA GRANDE — The Budget Committee of the La Grande School District will convene Wednesday, June 8, at 5:30 p.m. Following that meeting, at 7 p.m., the district’s Board of Directors will have a regular meeting. Both meetings will be in the District Office Board Room at 1305 N. Willow.

• ELGIN — A public meeting of the Wallowa Union Railroad Authority Board of Directors will be held Monday, June 27, at 6 p.m. at the Elgin Depot.
