SUNDAY, NOV. 19

8:51 a.m.: La Grande police received a call about suspicious circumstances on the 2900 block of Third Street. An officer responded and advised the reporting party that the power outage extended to more than just their house.
8:54 a.m.: A caller told La Grande police that an individual was creating a traffic hazard at Island Avenue and Interstate 84 by sitting in the roadway. An officer responded and warned the subject for disorderly conduct.
9:29 a.m.: La Grande police received a call about suspicious circumstances at Waste-Pro. Law enforcement contacted the responsible party for the business, who informed them that it’s a normal situation.

4:38 p.m.: A caller informed La Grande police about a careless driver at Main Avenue and Fourth Street and an officer advised.
11:18 p.m.: Union County Sheriff’s Office took a report for a drug law violation.
MONDAY, NOV. 20
8:19 a.m.: A caller told the Union County Sheriff’s Office about an abandoned dog on the 600 block of Y Avenue in La Grande. An animal enforcement officer responded and the dog was impounded.
8:25 a.m.: Union County Sheriff’s Office received a request for extra patrols on the 60100 block of High Valley Road in Union due to speeding motorists. A deputy advised and extra patrols were provided.
12:42 p.m.: During a traffic stop at South Walton Road and Buchanan Lane, Union County Sheriff’s Office arrested Stacey Lynn Plummer, 54, on a Union County warrant for violating a release agreement. Original charges included first-degree burglary, two counts of fourth-degree assault and second-degree disorderly conduct. Plummer was also taken into custody on charges of resisting arrest and attempting to elude in a vehicle.
2:47 p.m.: Union County Sheriff’s Office took a report of harassment at La Grande Middle School. A school resource officer advised.
3:01 p.m.: During a field interrogation at Taco Bell in Island City, Union County Sheriff’s Office arrested Martin Edward Maher, 48, on three Umatilla County warrants. The first was a failure to appear warrant with original charges of four counts of second-degree theft, and the second was also a failure to appear warrant with an original charge of first-degree theft. The third warrant was for a probation violation with an original charge of unlawful possession of heroin.
3:10 p.m.: La Grande police arrested Farnum Skylar Smart, 37, on a Umatilla County failure to appear warrant with an original charge of trespassing.
5:04 p.m.: A caller informed the Union County Sheriff’s Office about shoplifting happening at Walmart in Island City. A deputy responded and arrested Michael Robert Richardson, 39, for third-degree theft.
9:35 p.m.: During a traffic stop at Washington Avenue and Fourth Street, La Grande police arrested Jeff Allan Conser, 45, for driving under the influence of intoxicants.
11:10 p.m.: Milton-Freewater Police Department arrested Ernest Charles Davis, 54, on a Union County failure to appear warrant with an original charge of failing to perform the duties of a driver with property damage.
11:32 p.m.: La Grande police received a call about a stolen vehicle at Eastern Oregon University. Officers responded and arrested Stanley Dale James Jr., 46, for driving under the influence of intoxicants.
TUESDAY, NOV. 21
2:19 a.m.: La Grande police received a call about a hit-and-run on the 1600 block of 26th Street. Officers responded and arrested Isaiah Nathaniel Wood, 22, for driving under the influence of intoxicants and hit-and-run.
7:24 a.m.: Oregon State Police Pendleton Area Command arrested Matthew Richard Godsill, 30, on a Union County failure to appear warrant with original charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving.
2:49 p.m.: La Grande police arrested Mickkoltin Ray Morrison-Haines, 20, on a Umatilla County failure to appear warrant with an original charge of mail theft or receipt of stolen mail.
3:28 p.m.: La Grande police received a call about a trespass on the 2200 block of Jefferson Avenue. Officers responded and warned the subject for disorderly conduct. The subject agreed to leave.
4:12 p.m.: Union County Sheriff’s Office took an animal complaint on the 200 block of East Electric Street in Union. A deputy reached out and provided options to the reporting party. An animal enforcement officer also advised.
WEDNESDAY, NOV. 22
6:39 a.m.: La Grande police received a call about open mailboxes on the 1900 block of O Avenue. An officer responded, but it was unclear whether a crime had been committed.
8:16 a.m.: A caller reported possible animal abandonment on the 400 block of East Beakman Street in Union to the Union County Sheriff’s Office. An animal enforcement officer reached out and explained options.
9:04 a.m.: Law enforcement arrested Glen Eymard Thibodeau, 36, on a Union County probation violation warrant. Original charges included interfering with making a report, second-degree criminal mischief, harassment, second-degree disorderly conduct, reckless driving and resisting arrest.
9:33 a.m.: While lodged in Union County Jail, Stanley Dale James, 46, was charged with attempting to elude and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
10:14 a.m.: A caller told the Union County Sheriff’s Office about a homeless camp along Highway 203 in Union. A deputy reached out and took the information.
10:54 a.m.: Union County Sheriff’s Office received a call about shoplifting at Walmart in Island City. The responding deputy trespassed the subject.
6:46 p.m.: La Grande police arrested John William Loving, 74, on a Hood River County failure to appear warrant with an original charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
7:14 p.m.: A caller informed the Union County Sheriff’s Office about shoplifting at Walmart in Island City. A deputy responded and arrested Alexus Woodzakel, 26, for second-degree theft.
9:09 p.m.: La Grande police received a call about a disturbance at the Best Western Plus Rama Inn and Suites. The situation was resolved prior to law enforcement arrival on scene. Officers counseled the parties, who were both intoxicated.
THURSDAY, NOV. 23
8:34 a.m.: A caller informed the Union County Sheriff’s Office about the unauthorized use of a vehicle, which happened around 4 miles north of La Grande. The vehicle was located and law enforcement arrested Misty Dawn Dean, 40, for the theft of a motor vehicle.
9:54 a.m.: Law enforcement received a call about suspicious circumstances at D&B Supply. A deputy responded, and the individual responsible for the business arrived to fix the situation.
10:05 a.m.: La Grande police responded to the jail for an assault and took a report.
2:43 p.m.: A caller told La Grande police about suspicious circumstances at Fir Street and V Avenue. An officer responded, and the subject was found in the emergency room.
5:27 p.m.: La Grande police received a call about possible gunshots near Pinehurst Apartments. An officer responded and determined that it was fireworks.
FRIDAY, NOV. 24
12:48 a.m.: Law enforcement received a call about an assault at Pinehurst Apartments. An officer responded and arrested Nathan Lee Bonn, 30, for fourth-degree assault.
11:44 a.m.: A caller told the Union County Sheriff’s Office about a horse loose on the 600 block of 18th Street in La Grande. The information was logged for an animal enforcement officer, and the horse was located.
12:20 p.m.: La Grande police received a report of a possible drug law violation on the 1800 block of G Avenue. An officer reached out and explained options.
2:39 p.m.: A caller told La Grande police about a possible drug law violation at Dairy Queen. An officer made contact and took the information.
SATURDAY, NOV. 25
12:07 p.m.: A La Grande police officer witnessed a disturbance at Island Avenue and Interstate 84. The parties were separated.
2:34 p.m.: A caller informed the Union County Sheriff’s Office about a trespass at Walmart in Island City. A deputy responded and arrested Michael David Hanson, 45, for trespass.
2:59 p.m.: Union County Sheriff’s Office received a call about a trespass on the 59800 block of Glass Hill Road in La Grande. A deputy responded and found the vehicles were unoccupied.
3:41 p.m.: A caller told the Union County Sheriff’s Office about suspicious circumstances 4 miles north of La Grande. A deputy responded and resolved the situation.
4:38 p.m.: A La Grande police officer warned one person after observing the subject trespassing at the railroad tracks.
5:27 p.m.: A caller informed La Grande police about shoplifting at Safeway. An officer reached out and took a report.
9:53 p.m.: A caller told La Grande police about a possible runaway and the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle on the 200 block of Gekeler Lane. Officers responded but were unable to locate the individual.
SUNDAY, NOV. 26
6:09 a.m.: Law enforcement received a call about a vehicle creating a hazard on Highway 82 in Elgin. A deputy responded and the vehicle was towed.
9:31 a.m.: A caller told La Grande police about suspicious circumstances at American Auto Repair. An officer reached out, took the information and explained options.
10:12 a.m.: Union County Sheriff’s Office took a call about a suspicious person on the 1700 block of Baltimore Street in Elgin and a deputy advised.
12:31 p.m.: A caller told the Union County Sheriff’s Office about a purse found at Elgin Station Grill and Bar. A deputy responded and took a report.
1:44 p.m.: Union County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a dog bite from Antles Lane in Cove.
9:24 p.m.: A caller informed the Union County Sheriff’s Office about a disturbance on the 1600 block of Division Street in Elgin. Deputies responded, and the parties agreed to separate for the night.
9:32 p.m.: Union County Sheriff’s Office received a call about drug paraphernalia found on the 64000 block of High Valley Road in Cove. Law enforcement reached out and explained options.
